BOSTON, MA -- July 13, 2004 -- Now Software, maker of the #1 best selling cross-platform calendar and contact manager Now Up-to-Date® & Contact® (NUDC) and Parliant Corporation today introduced a complete, business telephone management solution based on the integration of Now Up-to-Date & Contact for Mac and the PhoneValet Message Center. The solution provides automated call logging in Now Up-to-Date & Contact, and reading of calendar and to-do lists over the phone.

The integration features include:
- an Applescript for automating call recognition and logging with Now Up-to-Date & Contact. Opens existing records, or creates new records for unknown callers. It creates call notes and logs the call on the user's calendar.

The new integration features are provided free of charge to existing Now Up-to-Date & Contact users. The Applescripts for contact management and remote calendar reading are available now at nowsoftware.com.
Now Software is offering a special to existing Macintosh users of Now Up-to-Date & Contact to purchase PhoneValet for $179.95 - regularly $199.95. In addition, a bundle of Now Up-to-Date & Contact and PhoneValet Message Center is available for $269.95 - a total savings of $80.
PhoneValet Message Center includes both hardware and software. It greets callers professionally, announces each call by voice and on the screen, and permits the call to be recorded in whole or in part. Outgoing calls can be dialed from the computer by simply speaking a name. Incoming calls can be recorded and forwarded automatically by e-mail to a cell phone.
